Let's give The Guillotine a try. The guillotine fantasy football league, to be clear. If you follow local fantasy football guru Paul Charchian, this is on of his latest, greatest twists on the traditional fantasy football league, and I must say it intrigued me enough to get a last minute Guillotine League going here.How it works: At the end of each week:-The bottom scoring team from that week gets eliminated from the league.-That team's roster is dropped into the free agent pool.-At the end of the season, the last team standing wins.For practical purposes, at this late date, I've set up the league for a snake draft, with a $200 FAAB for what I suspect will be a lively weekly waiver wire - for survivors.Here's how I've set the league up:Points only league in Yahoo, as nobody plays head to head and no need for more than one division. Each Tuesday I will manually drop the losing team's players and freeze their roster, and you'll have until Thursday to make waiver bids with the FAAB ($200). Roster includes: 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex (RB/WR/TE), 1K, 1 Def plus 4 bench spots to discourage parking all the best players on one team..5 PPR.Draft is Weds, Sept 5 at 5:00 pm. Once you sign up & pay, I'll sent you link to join the league.
